Is fun still legal? I dunno. Somebody told me that they (you know…them) are thinking of banning fun because it isn’t inclusive or exclusive enough. I recommend the P71 Crown Victoria to anyone looking for a cheaply priced late model (yeesh, these things are getting near 20 years old now!) sedan that can do double duty as daily driver and for menacing the neighbors. The de-chromed exterior and cop-specific durability upgrades help sell a used P71 as a fantastic alternative to something like a boring old used Camry/Accord/Fusion/Impala and the only downside is you can’t get one with a shift-it-yerself gearbox…unless the owner has swapped in a 5-speed like this next one.
