Chevy V8 Proyecto: 1972 Mercedes-Benz 220D W114

This next car comes as a tip from Cory who writes: who has the cojones to finish this car- 72 Mercedes 220d with chevy 350 swap and mexican blanket on the dash. Oh boy, someone better buy this before I do and end up with an expensive lawyer bill from a divorce atty. I’ve already got one derelict “mostly free” Benz in my driveway, but I think I could fit another. Find this 1972 Mercedes-Benz 220D offered for $500 in Chelmsford, MA via facecurb toothfairy.

Seller’s Description
Update, car is at my ex-wife’s and will be junked if not grabbed by December. Someone please take this so it doesn’t get crushed.
72 220d with a SBC 350 and turbo 350 swap. No title. It’s been a fun project but I’ve lost interest and am moving out in a month and will no longer have the space. Not road worthy, unless your insane. It needs a lot, so if you can’t do it all then I’d pass. Hasn’t been started in a few months but will fire after a charge.

Probably worth the 500 bucks just to pull the engine and transmission out of it.
LeMons time!!
And that’s no cheap Mexican blanket, it’s the rest of the cheap Walmart throw rug on the floorboards.
