0.5k: Shaken And Stirred: 1977 Porsche 924 Martini Rossi Edition, Some Assy Required

The Porsche 924 was the bastard child of a joint Porsche/VW project and used a 4-cylinder Audi engine that was later shared with the AMC Gremlin.  From these humble beginnings Porsche started a water-cooled front-engine assault on the sports car market that left a considerable number of cheap P-cars spread throughout the world.  In 1977 Porsche released a limited edition of its 924 to commemorate the 1976 victories of the Martini Rossi Porsche 936.  Find this 1977 Porsche 924 Martini Edition in need of some restoration for $500 in Ventura, CA via craigslist.  Thanks to tip from Sean S.

According to various sources on the interwebs, the Martini Rossi edition 924 was only available for model year 1977 and  was available with a white paint scheme with red/blue Martini Rossi styled stripes, larger front/rear anti-roll bars, leather steering wheel, white wheels, and a few special interior piping details.  This Martini Rossi edition was parked under a tree around the year 2000 and has had mice chew through important bits of the wiring harness…
