The Original Wide Body: 1966 Dodge Coronet 440 Manual
In 1965 the Coronet name was revived for use on a Dodge product, this time an intermediate sized sedan that immediately became the highest volume Dodge from a sales perspective. This fifth generation Dodge Coronet was built on a shared intermediate sized platform with the Plymouth Belvedere/Savoy/GTX/Road Runner and Dodge Charger from 1965 through 1970…and it is a beast of an automobile. Find this 1966 Dodge Coronet 440 Manual offered for $16,500 in Burlingame, CA via craigslist. Tip from FuelTruck.

When I was in high school, a neighbor had one that he drag raced. Made wicked sounds when he started it up. Never went with to the track but he said it would lift the front wheels a bit on take off.
I more or less work in sales and I always tip my cap when someone finds a new way to spin something in an advertisement. So I say "kudos to you good sir" for coming up with "perfect patina" where mere mortals might have said "54 year old paint job."
This thing must be a handful on the road in the best possible way. Very cool.
Looks to be a bargain if the metal is clean with zero rust.
A muscle car with no picture of the engine is curious. Sounds like a great buy, maybe??
