Show Me The Money: 1994 Ford Taurus SHO

The second time the SHO name appeared on the back of a Taurus was in the second generation Taurus built from 1991 through 1995, and it used the same Yamaha built V6 for shredding the front tires.  Today, it is one of the more interesting ways to go 143 mph in a sedan for less than $2k.  Find this 1994 Ford Taurus SHO offered here on eBay for $1,600 buy-it-now located in San Diego, CA with 4 days to go.

The 2nd gen Taurus SHO uses a 3.0 liter V6 built by Yamaha that produced 220 horsepower and 200 ft-lbs of torque mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox (the slushbox versions used a 3.2 liter V6 that produced equal horsepower but an additional 15 ft-lbs of torques).  Today’s example isn’t some perfect museum piece, but it looks decent for having 270k miles on the odo and the price is right.
