When I first saw this next feature, I thought “wow, that is a bunch of money for an 80s Ford Wagon“…but then I started to get into the finer details of this particular wagon. Most 88 LTD wagons have long since been ridden into the ground by the grand kids of the original owners…which is a fitting death for the ultimate family machine (my parents had one of these and I remember being able to see the road zipping under the car thru the rust holes and that was when it was only a few years old!). So, yes, $9k is all the money for an 88 LTD Wagon, but you couldn’t take a $3k example of this car and get it into this condition with $6k, so I’ll give this one a thumbsup.
