Holy Guacamole: 1972 Datsun 510 Sedan
The Datsun 510 was released in 1968 as a replacement/upgrade to the older Datsun 411 chassis. The 510 wasn’t considered much of a BMW competitor when new, but time has been kind to the perky little sedan and they are surprisingly valuable today. Find this 1972 Datsun 510 Sedan here on eBay bidding for $15,400 with a few hours to go, located in Kelowna, BC, Canada.
Four door equipped cars aren’t that collectible (for the most part…of course, there are exceptions) and this Datsun would be worth considerably more if it were a 2-door. However, it comes with a 29,000 mile odometer reading that is allegedly accurate, has original pea green paint and runs/drives perfectly.

Wasn't competitive with the BMW? Do you mean because the BMW was so far behind the 510 and the Alfa that it did not get in the way of the front runners in Trans Am?
My dad had a 510 sedan long before I was born. He said he wished he could have passed down his old 1967 Camaro but I'd rather have his old 510.
Brings back memories.
Never owned one, had a girlfriend who did.
Compared to what I was used to, it felt (in a good way) like it weighed 1500 lb.
