Fastback Style: 1974 MG MGB GT

When you add the GT designation to something like a Mustang, it means you get a V8, but with the classic MGB it means you got a hardtop.  Torsional rigidity and weatherproofing goes up when you add the Pininfarina designed greenhouse, but the best part is you get a fastback lift-gate to maximize your storage access and cool factor. Find this 1974 MG MGB GT offered for $5,800 in Denver, CO via craigslist. Tip from Zach Z.

The GT hardtop version of the popular MGB sports car sold about 125,000 units through its 15 year production run.  Under the hood is a 1.8 liter OHV inline-4 rated at 91 horsepower
and 98 ft-lbs of torque which isn’t the biggest/greatest thing to ever be shoved under a hood, but you can keep up with modern traffic and it won’t break down very often.
