F-Body in Yellow: 1977 Chevrolet Camaro
The 2nd generation F-body Camaro was sold from 1970 through 1981 and has somehow avoided the massive price appreciation we’ve seen in various classic cars. Granted, many of the 2nd gen were built during the 70s fuel and emissions crises with under-powered engines, but they drive better than the original version and are stylistically superior to the 3rd gen…so enjoy them while they are cheap. Find this 1977 Chevrolet Camaro offered for $12999 near Indianapolis, IN via craigslist. Tip from Rock On!

A real head turner.
Restored 7 years ago for my daughter who is now getting married and has lost interest/space.
She had driven it less than 1,000 miles since all work was completed which includes:
Rebuilt 350 Motor and transmission with less than 1,000 miles ago.
Oversized aluminum radiator
New dash pad, seat covers, seat padding, hood, fenders, quarter panels, and rear tail
Original door panels
Original rear window louvers
Painted interior with two-tone black and tan
Dash instrument cluster and gauges professionally refurbished (paint and instrument calibration)
$1,500+ stereo system with Polk separate tweeter and mids. Subwoofer built in to rear deck. It’s very loud, crisp with no distortion.
$1,300 wheels and tires with less than 1,000 miles.
Paint job included taking to bare metal, epoxy primer, sandable primer, sealed again with epoxy primer before 4 coats base and 7 coats clear. Black stripes are buried in the clear coat. Painted in pieces so door jams, etc all painted properly.
Note – cracked windshield in the lower corners, windshield wipers not installed, no heat or AC installed although I do have the controller and the heat parts.

If you cant roll up your white t shirt sleeve far enough on your 135 lb frame, when you're not wearing your new beige polyester pantsuit, with wide white belt, you cant drive this.
1. How hard is it to mask off door/trunk lock mechanisms before painting?
2. Restoring a car to this level and leaving heat on the cutting room floor? In Indiana?
All of that and for 13k, a 1977 Camaro better be nicer than when it was on the showroom floor new.
