Sun Tzu is probably first famous writer to be quoted as saying; In the midst of chaos, there is also opportunity — but this concept is not new or un-repeated by other folks. It is certainly true in the age of the coronavirus..and while I hate to be a vulture…there is a good reason to buy a car today… primarily is that most people are more concerned with paying their mortgage and avoiding the plague…so it is currently a buyer’s market. Avoid places where the prices are fixed and the reserves are not-met — instead find yourself a no-reserve auction and see what kind of car you can get for half the going rate from a month ago. It stands to reason that if your 401k is worth 50% of its value in January, then the same goes for a classic Mustang. Find this 1969 Ford Mustang Mach 1 Tribute here on eBay bidding for $20,600 reserve-not-met located in Scottsdale, AZ with 5 days to go.

1969 Ford Mustang SportsRoof : I am representing this car for the the widow of the owner. They have owned it since the early 90’s. During their ownership the Mustang was maintained, and driven sparingly. The 90101 miles are believed to be original.
According the Marti report this Mustang was originally equipped with the following options:
351 2V Motor
CandyApple Red Paint
Black out hood treatment
Black Vinyl Standard Bucket seats
2:75 conventional Rear Axle
Sport Deck Rear Seat
Power Front Disc Brakes
Currently Equipped as a nice Mach 1 clone. I am not aware if the 351 motor is original to the car. The automatic transmission was changed to a 4 speed. I believe it to be a period correct top loader.
Body: Looking at the car closely I believe it was rotisserie restored in the late 80’s. The chassis displays very nicely with no rust, and a body colored finish. The pans appear original. The late owner had it re-painted in the early 90’s. There are small dimples on the roof evidencing poor prep work. The front drivers fender has body work showing, and there is rust on the underside on the fender. I have a picture of this in the gallery. The chrome and stainless are older with some pitting and scratches.
Interior: The interior is in very nice well preserved condition.
Motor and Transmission: The motor runs well, The original 2 barrel carburetor has been changed out for a Holly 4 barrel. The motor starts easily. The 4 speed transmission and clutch work as designed.
Chassis: The bottom of the car shows very nice. The power steering fluid has leaked out so currently the steering is manual. It appears the owner had removed a bad hose, and was in the process of replacing it when he passed.
