Ending Soon: 1970 Lotus Europa S2
The Europa was a sporty two seater built by Lotus Cars
in Norfolk, UK from 1966 through 1975. The lightweight (1300-1500 lbs) Europa featured a mid mounted inline 4
and some of Colin Chapman’s best designed suspension bits and only 9300 of these high-butted gems left the factory. Find this 1970 Lotus Europa S2 here on eBay bidding for $7,499 with a few hours to go, located in Granite Falls, WA.
The series 2
cars introduced in 1969 introduced newer/better powertrains and bolts
to secure the fiberglass body to the steel backbone chassis instead of
the wall paper paste used in the series 1 cars. Today’s example looks like a great runner for the money, unless I’m missing something…

I'd need to wait until they figure out how to remove three or four vertebrae from my back to fit in one of these.
I have to have my legs trimmed at the shins. I can fit in the car (just barely), but I can't really drive it when my knees are wedged between the wheel and the console.
His taste has improved since the last car he had was featured on here …

Must be a trip living next door to this guy!
Loving tha Lab for scale in tha last image.
$7500 for that car was a smokin' deal.
………..notice no passenger mirror? Very exciting lane changes predicted. Very cool to change freeway lanes by driving under semi truck/trailer combination like a real HOON!
