From ebay listing:
I
have a 1983 Ford Heritage Thunderbird for sale. This is one of the
sharpest 83 Thunderbirds out there, it has a custom turquoise paint job
highlighted with teal green and hot pink body trim. The paint job is over
20 years old but still looks like new with the exception of where a
motorcycle I had fell into the rear drivers side leaving a couple of
small dents and a chip out of the paint as shown in supplied photo .
Inerior looks practically new with the exception of the headliner
sagging some , car has a custom sound system with 4 separate amplifiers
that total about 1500 watts and 8 speakers including 2 10″ Bazooka subs ,
this car actually won 1st place in the 1st sound wars competition at
Audition Hi Fi in Kingsport,TN back in the day.Motor is a 302 and
transmission is AOD. Car has developed a water leak that I assume is the
water pump , it will also need a new master cylinder for the brakes , I
replaced the fuel pump but the new one makes a whining sound though it
does work well. Feel free to ask anything you need to know and I will
tell you. This car just needs a few things to be a spectacular car.
I think you got the Mustang Fuel pump by mistake if it is whining common problem…
Lmao !
My Mom bought an 83-84 ? T-Bird it was a champagne color somewhat rare had the V-6 was a much better car then her 80 Monte-Carlo that was bought from Budget rentals used car's not a wise decision and that Monte had 2.23 gears with a turbo-200 slow as hell and even slower on a long grade but great mpg.The T-Birds brakes always scared me as pedal height changed with each application or un-even as they say unnerving @ best.My Mom left this world in 95 and my brother took the T-bird south to Phoenix from Seattle his oldest teen boy ran the car into a support beam @ the local HS messed up the drivers fender and bumper..so sat then went to the recycler was an easy fix but they shit canned it.
