Mid Week Match-Up: Wild West Edition
Today’s mid week match-up
is an open post with you, dear reader, helping with the match. That
means I want you guys in the comments to give your car needs — budget,
location, constraints — in the comments, and then folks will reply in a
nested comment to your needs.
I need someone to purchase my '92 245 in AK at a non-firesale price.
What's the millage, does it have rust/body damage, does it have working A/C, and what's the price.
Mileage is ~180k. No rust or body damage though it does need a touch-up on the bottom edge of the hatch. Has the later-style pushbutton AC (rather than twist-knob) but I do not believe it's charged and I don't have purpose to use as it's in Alaska (though the switch light does light up). AT, replaced blower motor, summer steelies and winter tires (steelies or Virgos), dog gate, arm rest, small tach and volt meter aux gauges, seat covers replaced and foams reinforced, seat heaters, power heated mirrors (I think the wiring diagram provided with the power mirrors was off as I'm not getting heat), dark green with tan vinyl. Replaced front seat covers with quality vinyl. OEM Ecodes with drivers side lens replaced with aftermarket DJAuto one due to cracks (pre-Ecode photo / post-ECode photo). Steering rack replaced. New pioneer BT radio and new / newer speakers. Cat-back exhaust system newer. More that I can't think of at the moment.
Known issues: believe the radiator will need to be replaced in the coming year – was seeing temperatures climb in summer traffic / mountain climbing though water pump is newer.
One spot of vinyl damage on LH Rear passenger door card where one of the corgis decided he's gnaw his way out.
Front power window motors shot – have replacements but have yet to install.
RTabs / rear shocks need replaced (homebrew tool included)
Included spares: Strut mount, RTABs, rear shock, Bentley manual, sundry switches and rubber bushings, lightly used bits.
Thanks for the reply. I would be more interested in it if they A/C works (I live in the desert) and the radiator issue bothers me a bit (once again, desert living). And the fact that I would have to ship it 3,000+ miles.
Hope you sell it for a good price.
So is this to sell, or for potential cars to buy?
I need someone to buy my 2000 4Runner SR5 Highlander Edition, 4×4, 5-speed. 167K, well-maintained, second owner since 2004, clean title. Needs nothing, everything works.
If only that was a first gen 4Runner I would have been interested.
I'm looking for a 2001-2003 non SULEV 5 speed E 46 wagon with mileage around <120,000 for 4k or so. Obviously has to be on the West Coast. I recently missed a unicorn by a few days that was in the Monterey area. One owner! 117 K went for that price.
Your search is not in plentiful fields – unicory indeed – there is this mashup – denver.craigslist.org/cto/5942463378.html
