Auction Watch: 1970 1/2 Ford Falcon Sedan
Find this 1970 (1970.5) Ford Falcon Sedan here on eBay bidding for $1,000 reserve-not-met with 3 days to go, located in Converse, TX.
From eBay listing:
I have a rare 2-owner, Texas 1970 1/2 Ford Falcon with 80307 miles on the 302 v8.
Clean
Texas title in hand. Motor runs strong. The transmission work great but
I had found a slow leak so my mechanic drained it. Its the trans pan
that has the leak, so it’s ready to be taken apart resealed or refilled
and driven. Lots of new parts: Edelbrock carb, aluminum Champion
radiator, 4 Barrel intake manifold, new alternator, rpm tach, a B & M
floor shifter, new spark plugs and wires, chrome ford racing valve
covers, ready for an aftermarket stereo and has upgraded speakers, I’m
sure i’m missing other stuff. All the oem parts and extras in the
massive trunk. Interior is in excellent condition other than the tear in
the driver seat. The exterior is in great condition, all glass is
there, minimum surface rust, and a few small dents. Original rims.
Straight pipe exhaust.
I dont hate, there's a slightly menacing air about it. The flag has got to go, sorry.
The big question: Is it kun-VERSE or CON-verse? Either way, I'm pretty sure Hank Hill lives on that street.

So what makes it rare? How long it's been cooked, like the tranny?
The "straight-piped exhaust"?
Didn't they only offer this Falcon body style for 1 year? Maybe that's the 'rare' part. Or the flag on the hood, that would do it too.
Isn't the flag on the hood backwards? Not surprised
Yup Torino with Falcon badges….Dash looks to be worked on by my Nephew..kool knot…
Do you know how many of this model are still around I have one and can't find much information on it?
are you looking to sell the one you have?
any one know if this car is still available.
I had this car in high school. 1996! I loved it. 4 door and all!
