5k: Army Air Force Staff Sedan: 1940 Plymouth P10

This Plymouth P10 is a Deluxe Touring sedan that was sold to the US Army Air Force for military use when new.  It accompanied the 325th Heavy Bombardment Squadron as part of the 92d Bombardment Group stationed in England at RAF Bovingdon during the Second World War.  As vehicle number 6 of the motor pool, it was used as a fleet car and eventually made its way home to Nellis Air Force base in Nevada, where it was found in rust free condition, but was given a restoration.  Find this 1940 Plymouth P10 here on eBay currently bidding for $4,550 with 1 day to go, located in Las Vegas, NV.

The seller states that it was found in excellent condition, but also mentions that he gave it a new paint job and new interior — so check carefully and make sure the work will last another 75 years.
