3k: Projections: 1987 Pontiac Fiero GT V8

It’s tough watching good projects die. Monkey Dude (seller’s name) tore into this V8 swapped Fiero GT and just couldn’t get her done.. now its taking up too much time in someone else’s space and its gotta go.  His loss is your gain because the asking price is well less than the cost of the engine/trans before he started throwing custom bits at it.  Find this 1987 Pontiac Fiero GT V8 here on eBay offered for $3,000 buy-it-now with 2 days to go, located in Goodlettsville, TN.

This one is for those who are just so confident in their abilities that
they can see past the other guy’s problems and grab up the bits and
pieces.  The car started as a simple Fiero GT, the owner put a transverse V8 mated to a slushbox in the back and sometime after 2006 tore into the engine and started a manual conversion.  Sometime after 2006 the project stalled and the seller is now trying to dispose of the evidence at what looks to be a fair price.

The V8 is a 383 cubic inch small block Chevy — seen here mounted up-side-down on an engine hoist.  You’ll need a way to haul this car and all its parts home, maybe a big truck and a tow dolly.  Trash can not included.

This isn’t a case of the other guy’s money, its whether or not you want to smoke any of the previous guy’s crack?  Are those Trans-Am ram air inlets opening into the Fiero’s frunk?

Once you get your hands into this thing, you’ll be determined to finish it, but what will it cost you in terms of aggravation?  See another project offered for cheap? tips@dailyturismo.com
