The Ford Fairlane was an intermediate sized coupe from Detroit, and in big-block form these beasties can be quite a deal when compared to a Mustang or other pony car from the sixties. The fifth generation with its stacked headlights is one of the best looking of the breed and was made only from 1966 to 1967. Find this 1967 Ford Fairlane 390GT for sale in Pueblo, CO currently bidding on ebay for $14,700.
This Fairlane features a great Dark Moss Green on parchment color combination and the desirable T-10 4-speed top loader gearbox and Ford’s nearly indestructible 9-inch rear end. The paint shines nicely and the original style wheels with white GT stripe and raised white letter tires look great.
The 6.4 liter 390FE V8 may be a snug fit between the shock towers, but its 335 horsepower output is well worth the child-fingers-only spark plug replacement procedure. The Fairlane should scoot relatively well with the 4-speed manual transmission and 427 ft-lbs of torque.
The interior of this Fairlane looks in good shape and has been well cared for; it’s claimed to be the original “Parchment” vinyl.
