Zee Thirty Two: 1996 Nissan 300ZX Twin Turbo

The Z32 generation Nissan 300ZX was such a dramatic styling step above the previous generation that it almost looks like it came from a different manufacturer. Count me in as a fanboi, because the egg shaped Z was so much cleaner that the previous generation and better looking than the 350Z that replaced it a few years later. Today’s example is the much desired 2-seat coupe with t-tops that the seller is removing from his fleet because “too many speeding tickets.” Find this 1996 Nissan 300ZX Twin Turbo offered for $10,000 in San Bruno, CA via craigslist.

Used to be my everyday car but got too many speeding tickets. Ended up buying a hybrid for my commute so I don’t drive it as much anymore and mostly just sits in the garage.
Test drive OK with cash in hand. Serious inquiries only please.

The ads for these were bonkers great. How long until this generation of the Z receives the same adulation, worship and wild value increases as the 3rd gen RX7 or the NSX?

Must be those Lamborghini Diablo headlights.
* Broken Record Alert * – Absolutely loved my ’91 TT and had zero issues with it. Deceivingly fast and handled like it was on rails. Miss that car….
Dig the color combo on this one.
I know when i test drove a Twin Turbo my license would have been in jeopardy, i did buy a 90 non turbo and enjoyed that car really like this one if the motor is solid this is a great price and think these will be going up in price PDS.
I must have been unconscious that year . I dont remember these at all. Kind of reminds me of an Oldmobile Aurora………with a squished roof. I’ll defer to the greater automotive intellects here on this one
In person, the lines on this car always reminded me out of something penned in Italy. They are really that good. Front, side, rear. All flow seamlessly. Somehow the photos never capture this.
And I was fortunate to see a 300 this color green in person. With the tan interior, it’s stunning.
Jeeze. I have nothing bad to say about this car. Except my driveway and garages are full. Damn.
Great deal on a beautiful drive.

Agreed. Still looks good after all these years…
