YJ That Needs A Wash: 1990 Jeep Wrangler Islander Edition

The YJ (1986-1995) was the first generation of the Jeep Wrangler that was built as a replacement for the aging CJ (1945-1986). They were very popular when new and you still see plenty driving around and I’m somewhat surprised to see the asking price of this next 50k mile YJ (with functioning AC!) to be as low as it is. Perhaps it would be worth more after a good bath and clay bar treatment? Find this 1990 Jeep Wrangler Islander Edition offered for $1800 in San Jose, CA via craigslist.

Super deal if it runs. If I only had the space… I’d be picking it up today, no question.
The Islander trim came with a few exclusive details beyond just the decals, including a slightly larger fuel tank as I recall. Not sure what that was all about.
