Wings N Scoops: 1984 Ford Mustang SVO

A few years ago I would have ranted that this is an INSANE amount of money to pay for a used Mustang, but with the average sales price of a new car exceeding $45k and the average listing price of a used car pushing $25k, I can’t say that this next car is that expensive. And those newfangled cars might have a turbocharged fuel injected 4-banger, they won’t have Koni adjustable shocks, a manual gearbox, a multi-level wing, or a blood pressure sleeve pump in the front seat. Find this 1984 Ford Mustang SVO offered for $17,900 in Addison, IL via craigslist. Tip from Jeff G.

This mustang is an absolute time capsule that was built on 10/19/1983 which on the SVOs built before Jan. Of 1984 got the added Factory ladder bars. I bought from orig owner who bought this gorgeous 1984 Mustang SVO that is 1 of 864 in silver metallic and 1 of 642 with paint and trim code and only 13k orig miles from new. Even has the factory orig tires that were imported from Europe. The original owner had her even Ziebarted when bought new. 1st year of the SVO Mustang. That has the Turbo 4cyl. 175 horse power with 14lb boost and 210 ft lbs torque matted with the 5spd manual trans. This SVO comes in the rarest color for this year Silver Metallic with gray cloth interior with bucket seats with the hand blow up bolsters. This one is loaded as well. With steering.intermitted wipers.fog lamps with orig covers.factory alarm.rear am/fm cassette player.folding rear seats. Hatch pull cover. She runs and drives as new. The interior shows as new both seats show no signs of wear. The original paint is time capsule amazing. The engine compartment is highly detailed. These Mustangs SVO are becoming highly collectable and this one is the one to have being 1 of 642 and super low 13k miles from new. And i do have a Marti Report as well.
