White Valium: 1998 Buick Century
If you’ve spent any time behind the wheel of a modern Toyota Camry you won’t be impressed by much of anything. Reliable…sure…but fun? Nope. Not even in the slightest. There is a blandness and safety against anything sport that hat pervades the entire driving experience and reminds me of a 90s front drive Buick. This is probably not a coincidence because most of the folks who purchased those under sprung Buicks in the 90s are either dead or now drive Camrys/Avalons….which is a shame because the Buick has much more style. So if you want to drive a new Camry, consider this low mile Buick instead. Find this 1998 Buick Century offered for $2800 in Cape Coral, FL via craigslist. Tip from Dascpcu.

Yep, one of the many W-bodies, but it seems like more Buicks have survived than Grand Prixes. The only 50K miles is a bit surprising, although given the target market I could see how that might happen.
But you can get a W-body with the supercharged 3800 for the same money and in decent shape, if you're willing to go slightly higher on the mileage. That's what I did when looking for a cheap daily driver. There's a little mileage hit but are significantly less boring.
