Aged Whine: 2003 Mercedes-Benz C240 Wagon with M113K SuperCharged V8

This next car comes as a tip from Jeff who writes; Slick wagon, assuming you trust the shop that did the work.  I’m not as concerned about the quality of the swapper as I am about the signs of the tin worm from life in the rust belt…is D.C. in the rust belt?  Maybe the proximity to the chief offices of our gubmint causes accelerated oxidation of metal…I dunno….but I do know that I’d love to have a supercharged V8 wagon.  Find this 2003 Mercedes-Benz C240 Wagon with M113K SuperCharged V8 offered for $13000 in Washington, D.C. via craigslist.

Some say the E55 wagon is the ultimate ‘grocery getter,’ I’d argue that this is – it has the same engine as the E55, but with the simplicity of a base C class. I purchased the wagon a year ago from the man who built it. He is the owner of a well regarded euro shop, he built this over the course of a year as his personal vehicle. He sold it to me to fund his next project (another C class but with a bigger SC and built motor). I’m selling because I unfortunately rarely drive it, it’s a third vehicle and only gets driven to work 1-2 days a week, I’ve put less than 2000 miles on it since I bought it. In my ownership it has been 100% reliable, no issues at all, no leaks, no smoke, no CEL, it drives just like a normal C class but with a monster amount of HP/TQ available. It needs nothing, it’s been well cared for, built correctly (roughly 10k miles on build), never abused, and the best part everything works as a stock C class would, here are the details:


-M113K engine from a 2006 E55 (~105k undocumented miles)

-Larger injectors

-Snow meth Injection (for cooling, neither previous owner or I have ran it on meth)

-Kleeman headers

-82MM throttle body

-72MM pully

-Killer chiller

-Split Cooling

-340lph pump and adjustable regulator

-RACEIQ tune

-New AC compressor

-Custom 3″exhaust

-Engine was ‘refreshed’ prior to install

-Please note photos of compression in each cylinder, all are 100% inline with spec (it only let me upload 4 of the photos, I have the additional 4 that I can send)

-The wood console has a couple cracks

-The carpet in the boot has a stain on it, it’s easier to replace the bottom then replace the carpet, I’ve seen replacements from parted out cars on ebay for ~$80.
