What Am I? Fuzzy Mess Edition
Welcome to another edition of DT’s cure for the Monday morning blues — What Am I? In this better than being blinded with vaseline game we find a random picture of a car from a interweb advertisement and you get to guess what kind of car it is. Just what am I anyway? Update with solution below.
Good luck guessing what the fuzzy mess is from this 2008 dated photo; it should take longer than the last What Am I that we posted, which was solved by reader Rene within minutes of posting.
DT regular Gianni immediately recognized the rear end of a Corvair, or more precisely this 1965 Chevrolet Corvair offered for $1,000 in High Ridge, MO….within 2 minutes of posting.
Clearly, the rear end photo was too easy and in hindsight, I should have used this picture of some dude standing next to the Corvair’s blood stained passenger mirror.
With all that stuff in the garage and the photographer couldn’t find a rag to clean the vaseline off the lens?
Comments below.
Corvair, most likely a convertible.
Nice work — updated post with more fuztastic pictures and a link.
Yup, corvair.
SoroSuub X-34. Safe at any landspeed since the motivator recall.

pfft, amateur night man. Definitely a Corvair, I'm going to go with a '64 Monza Turbo 2dr coupe
"65 or later Corvair convertible.
Dude, I'm pretty sure that's a Lambo
65 or later Corvair 2-dr coupe.
That is a 1965-69 Corvair Monza coupe and it looks eerily like the one in my garage, except mine is blue and I don't have crap piled all over it! Mine is in SF and it runs and since I am not going to finish it, i have to say it is available if you are looking for this sort of project….
CB — why don't you cover your camera lens with goo, take a few pics with a crazy date imprint and send them to us. We'll post it up! tips@dailyturismo.com
Is there now some method for the blind to post craigslist ads?
That's the only explanation I can come up with for the recent up-tick in blurry schmoo pics making it all the way to the "PUBLISH" step.
