Wall Climber: 1992 Mitsubishi Pajero / Montero
People always ask how a car makes it to the pages of Daily Turismo. I always tell them practice…practice. No seriously…the real trick is to be: (1) Interesting — doesn’t have to be an Alpine A110, but if you are a Civic, you’d better be the nicest Civic with some crazy gear ratios or an extraneous exhaust valve…(2) Cheap…not like $4.99 cheap…but affordable and not another example of some jerk trying to turn collecting cars into collecting stamps. That’s it. It also helps to be sent in as a tip. Like this next 1992 Mitsubishi Pajero offered for $7,600 located in Houston, TX via craigslist. Tip from Jeff G.
From the seller:
I have this great running turbo diesel manual Pajero. all works well, no issues asside from cosmetics on the exterior and few interior blemishes.
No trades. no payments.
please contact with any questions and schedule a time to come see it if serious.

Too bad they don't make a LHD and extend the length and offer a 5-door for North America. They could sell a ton of them.
Sarcasm detected!!

That tool kit in the tailgate is pretty slick!
The slang definition of Pajero makes one wonder what Mitsubishi was thinking when they named the truck. That said, would rather have a first gen one of these.
