The Beef State: 1960 Ford Falcon Sedan

For whatever reason the automotive industry doesn’t make small incremental improvements each year, and instead tends to make huge strides across time.  Drive a 1960 Ford and then a 1965 and you won’t notice much difference, but drive a 1955 Ford and the 1960 car seems like it is from another planet.  The cars of the past few years have mostly stagnated in driving experience, but expect that to change as self driving and electric cars come into the market….Anyway, find this 1960 Ford Falcon sedan offered for $4,000 in Papillion, NE. Tip from Zach Z.

Equipped with an inline-6 and 3-on-the-tree, this car won’t be remotely sporty or fast, but people won’t want to pass you because they will be transfixed by that glorious “THE BEEF STATE” license plate.  I’d get some custom cut up white magnet sheets in big blobby shapes…and…hang on, lemme photoshop up a sketch.

There it is.  Don’t paint this beauty to make a bad joke, but you could invest in some magnetic stickers that make it look like a cow.
