Seller Submission: 1991 Jeep Grand Wagoneer

The classic SJ generation Jeep Wagoneer was produced from 1962 through 1991 by and
holds the unique title of being the world’s first luxury 4X4 sport
utility vehicle.  The Grand prefix didn’t appear until 1984, but the last vehicles to come from the Toledo assembly plant are arguably the best.  Find this 1991 Jeep Grand Wagoneer here on eBay bidding for $6,700 reserve-not-met with 3 days to go, located in San Marcos, CA. Seller submission from Chris E.

The SJ Grand Wagoneer was the car to drive to the country club back in the day and you’ll still see a surprising number used as vacation cars in the Hamptons.  They offer almost as much prestige as a vintage Mercedes G-Class wagon, but with wood sides — victory goes to the Wagoneer.

The seller has recently done some work on this beauty:

Here is a little history on the truck, motor was replaced
10,000 ago, transmission was just replaced last year with a transferable
warranty. I have a three ring binder with all of the receipts the previous
buyer had in addition to a few of the receipts from the owner prior to him.
Since I have owned it I have replaced or fixed the following:

Completely serviced the entire truck (fluids filters etc.)

Rebuilt transmission

New front and rear main seals and oil pan gasket.

New Starter

Rebuilt the carburetor

New pinion on the rear axel

Replaced the tailgate switch for the rear glass (now you can
raise and lower the glass at the tailgate)

New Interstate battery

New switch on the driver’s seat (controls the seat position)

It looks great on the inside and out in the pictures and the seller states that it is completely stock with an original color repaint that looks amazing.  …The wood paneling is perfect.  Even the headliner is great. There is no
RUST, the truck has spent its life in Oregon, Nevada and now Southern
California. IF you are looking for a Wagoneer that is all sorted and ready to
go this is it. Currently titled and smoged in California.
