Seller Submission: 1988 BMW 735i E32 5-spd

The E32 generation BMW 7-series is a classically styled big beast of a machine, thankfully free from all Banglized design elements and available with a clutch pedal. The design (credited to Ercole Spada and Hans Kerschbaum) is stately and understated at the same time, and has aged quite well if you ask this guy (but who asked anyway!!).  Find this 1988 BMW 735i E32 5-spd offered here on eBay currently bidding for $2,550 reserve-not-met with 2 days to go, located in Lebanon, OH.  Seller submission from Walter.

This E32 features prominent classic BMW kidney grill — these are the narrow kidneys of the inline-6 powered cars, V8/V12 examples got wider kidneys that look less like kidneys and more like lungs.  Many owners have performed kidney transplants over the years, but if my eye does not deceive me, these are original size.

The 735i is powered by the M30B35, which is a classic BMW inline-6 rated at 208 horsepower and 225 ft-lbs of torque.  The M30 is thankfully free of drive-by-wire silliness and is simple to maintain if you’ve got a good tool set.
