Rusty Star: 1971 Chevrolet Nova 454 V8
What does original paint, a big block V8, a functioning horn, and about five large have in common? Nothing, in the normal world, but today we find the world very not normal. Find this 1971 Chevrolet Nova 454 V8 offered for $4,850 in Holbrook, NY via craigslist. Tip from Pat L.
The third generation Chevrolet Nova was introduced in 1968 on a new plus
sized compact platform that was only 1 inch shy of the midsized
Chevelle. With available V8 power and 4-on-the-floor, the Nova was a
great way to go fast on the cheap..and they still are today, especially when rusty.

Nice find, I had a '73 back in high school. Lots of fun in a straight line.
Death Proof!
First thing to do is subframe connectors.
This seems like a hell of a deal to me.
Geez when new if you popped the clutch in a big block nova and some how got the tires hooked up ( or you were in third gear) you could put enough twist in the body to have to take it to the frame shop for untwisting.
Imagine that after 45 years of New York salt. Well at least it weighs a bit less.
Very rough even wiper knob is beat & twisted up… lol rusty crusty iron no thanks…
