Roll Hoops: 1996 Nissan 300ZX Convertible

This next car put me into a spin for a few minutes. I’m certain I’ve seen a convertible 300ZX from the Z32 generation before, but I didn’t recognize the roll hoop — it almost looks like a Bauer Targa conversion or something similarly custom. But maybe that makes sense because the convertible version did not come from a Japanese factory and instead was an American Specialty Cars (ASC) conversion done in the States at the request of US dealers. Find this 1996 Nissan 300ZX Convertible offered for $6,800 in Fremont, CA via craigslist.
