Mystery Wire: 1977 Lotus Eclat

This next car comes as a tip from Dave in Tampa: One of my recurring nightmares, besides the one where my teeth keep falling out and sticking in the gum I’m chewing, and the one where I walk in on the final exam that I forgot to study for is the dream that I’ve just bought a Lotus Eclat with a bundle of mystery wires dangling beneath the dashboard. Find this 1977 Lotus Eclat offered for $7400 in Ft Lauderdale, FL via fakesmash bookclat.

Good God…what did they do inside that car? Raise fighting gerbils?

Stan, seems the answer to your question is answered in the last photo on DT post. Big letters on green background. BUY IT FORGET IT.
“Project” you say? Geeze, I think I got a case of hives before I could rush to close the window on my browser.
These are soooo cool. Random wires are starting to not scare me away from these things. My current project is a Fiero with a Honda drivetrain. Around 90% of the stock wiring has been removed. I agree the idea of figuring that out and fixing it is a bit much. BUT tearing it all out and just redoing the wiring from scratch feels like a doable project.
The lack of engine pictures is a bigger issue for me. Based on the interior what does that engine bay look like???
