Electric Kool-Aid Acid: 1975 Zagato Zelle

You might be familiar with the Zagato name from classics like the Lancia Beta Zagato, the Hillman Zimp, or the Lancia Fulvia Sport Zagato, but today we’ve got something extraordinary from the Milan, Italy based coachbuilder. We’ve got one of the 500 Zele electric cars built and designed by Zagato in the 1970s and it looks crappy but cool. Find this 1975 Zagato Zelle bidding for $1225 with a few hours to go located in Richmond, VA.

From the seller:

Zagato Zele electric car that was the first electric car legal for use on US roads!! Only 500 made for US market! RARE!!!!

Bill of sale only! Car was stored outside for years but is still very solid and the body is fiberglass, I have kept inside since my ownership. Would make a cool Golf Cart conversion as nobody else will have one wherever you golf or use a golf cart.

Has also previously been used as a Shriners car (see pics for best description) Selling as is where is, what you see is what you get, etc….

Local pick up only but will assist your shipper if you make and pay for all arrangements
