Mid Week Match-Up: Summer Fun For Less Than $20k
It is Wednesday so that means it’s time for another edition of Daily Turismo’s game of spin the bottlejack— also known as Mid Week Match-Up! Last week, we asked readers to find us GI Joe’s ride and received lots of great suggestions (particularly this awesome Dodge Military 6×6 thing suggested by Steve). Today we are going to go another direction and ask our readers to find the best drop-top car for less than $20k.
For me, nothing says summer fun like a big 2-door American convertible from the 60s, such as this 1968 Dodge Dart GT offered for $18,500 in Troy, MI via craigslist. This Dart looks like it has been painted a few times, has the auto/bench seat — but it is the best looking year for the Dart and is powered by the 360 cubic inch V8.

I'll just leave this here.

I like this Mustang, and have enough of my 20K left to clean it up some, and have some fun…

I was going to post some sort of wacky CL special drop top, but in all seriousness I kept coming back to the Alfa Spider. They are pretty under appreciated, even the round tails. I'd really like to have an early Kamm tail with the chrome bumpers.
