Mexican Ant: 1970 Volkswagen T200 Hormiga

First, this is almost certainly a Volkswagen T200 “Hormiga” — Hormiga meaning “ant” in Spanish — a tiny Mexican-market commercial truck whose job description was to carry far more than its appearance suggests. The mechanical arrangement is particularly strange for something wearing a giant VW badge: 1.6-liter air-cooled flat-four making roughly 44 hp hangs in front of the front axle and powers the front wheels. Find this 1970 Volkswagen T200 Hormiga offered for $25,000 in Newport Beach, CA via facebucket markwreckt.
