This next car is an interesting proposition (or is that a preposition or a propitiation or perspiration…what am I talking about) at its current bidding price. The Series 2 Lotus Elise was built from 2001 through 2011 and they’ve become quite the modern collectors item in the past few years. However, today’s featured example is bidding for quite a low price given what these typically go for on them fancy auction whorehouses…I mean warehouses. What am I talking about today…yikes!! Could the white letter tires and arrest-me stripes give this car a low buy in price for someone who is willing to convert her back to stock? From the seller:
I am selling my 2006 Lotus Elise, I have had it for almost 5 years and it has been great, reliable, no rattles, no mechanical issues whatsoever, I got the Monkey Wrench exhaust and it sounds great, it has two remote fobs and keys, carbon fiber shift knob, everything else is pretty standard, the driver’s seat is a bit worn, it has a minor windshield stone chip fixed so it won’t crack, rarely the instrument panel loses power, it shifts smoothly, brakes are good, clutch feels good, it only has the soft top, new floor mats, please ask me any questions you might have, I will respond and send additional pictures if needed, oh, it has over 121K miles, still going strong,:
