Imported for Dodge: 1986 Dodge Conquest Technica

Back in the mid 1980s if you wanted a Mitsubishi with a turbo engine in the front and rear wheel drive, you had four cars to choose from — the Mitsubishi Starion, Dodge Conquest, Plymouth Conquest, and Chrysler Conquest…but they were really the same car with different badges. The biggest difference between models was the availability of an intercooler and widebody, but the best way to get the flatty narrow body and an intercooler is with the Technica version of the Conquest.  Find this 1986 Dodge Conquest Technica here on eBay offered for $5,900 buy-it-now or make-offer located in Dalton, WI with 4 days to go. From the seller:

This may well be the best example of a 1986 Dodge Conquest you’ll ever see that has never been restored.  It’s nearly perfect with only minor evidence of wear. This is not a restored car, it’s a survivor. With under 60k miles, this could very well be displayed in a museum.

Exterior is excellent, paint is shiny and clean.  Body is straight with no rust.  Seats are beautiful burgundy leather with only the slightest of wear.  Glass is excellent.  Some slight fading on the leather wrapped steering wheel.  Tires have good tread, hold air fine but are older.  Exhaust is quiet with no obvious leaks.  Brakes work great.  Rides and steers great.  Heat works great.  Cruise works. Front and rear wipers work. All lights work, even the flip up headlights work like they should. Too cold to test AC.  Power seats and windows work.  Very comfortable car.  I noticed the rear window washer did not work but the defroster works good.  There is an ‘overdrive off’ button on the shifter that is not functional.  Fluids are clean with no improper smells or colors.  Technically, this is a three owner car, but actually a mom passed it on to her son who eventually bartered the car for construction work.  The son had the car tuned up in 2014 but drove it rarely. Very peppy 1.6l Mitsubishi turbo charged engine. Even though cars over 10 years old are exempt from disclosure in Wisconsin, there is no reason to doubt the mileage on this car and I’m sure any car history report will back that up.  All photos are from January, 2018.
