Fresh From The 90s: 1992 Nissan Maxima

Back in the 1990s if you wanted a fast front-wheel-drive car to race with your buddies, it was best to avoid popular choices like the Honda CRX, Integra, or a watercooled VeeDub. Instead, you needed to steal your parents keys to their Nissan Maxima. The 3rd generation Maxima had a VE30DE V6 that pushed a 190horsepower into a 5-speed manual or 4-speed auto. Naturally, the well preserved low mile example featured today has the dreaded slushbox, but with only 38k miles on the odo, this thing is fresh. Find this 1992 Nissan Maxima offered for $3900 in Tampa Bay, FL via craigslist. Tip from Dave.

I bought this 1992 Nissan Maxima from an elderly neighbor down the street from me. He bought it new in 1992. I am selling because I am buying an SUV.

A/C works great.
I have service records going back until 1992.
Only negative about the car is that it slightly leaks gas when filling it up. It does NOT leak when parked/driving.
Otherwise the interior is in great shape and it drives very nicely.
