Copper In Color Not Usage: 1997 Ford Crown Victoria

The EN53 generation Crown Victoria was released as a stand alone model for the 1992 model year (previously it had been a trim level on the LTD) and it survived with minor changes through the 1997 model year when it was refreshed and continued through 2012. Searching through craigslist and it appears the Crown Vic was sold in two flavors — cop or old person. Today we found an example that fits squarely in the land of hearing aids and Gold Bond medicated powder. Find this 1997 Ford Crown Victoria offered for $4,500 in Reno, NV via craigslist.

That is a pretty god deal! Too bad they list as FWD, which I guess it is if you are driving in reverse.
The ex-PoPo Crown Vics are very popular down this way with the, shall we say, less eddicated folks prone to screaming “The Socialists are coming..the Socialists are coming”.Wait.they’re here.
Only Pony Express.
