Coffee Brake: Weekend Plans
I will spend most of this next weekend on a soccer field coaching my daughter’s team and refereeing other matches, but I’m sure you guys have projects to do…so let me live vicariously through your garage work!
What are you doing this weekend?
Grabbing a cheap junkyard seat to put in my daily driver while I pull the stock seat and attempt to repair its torn leather upholstery by cutting up a leather jacket I found in a secondhand store into replacements for the damaged portions.
Matt — wow…second hand leather jacket to fix a seat…now that is a good idea. Take pics and send it in, I will post a feature about it!

I'll be glad to. Go the make-do seat in the car this weekend and the original seat is now sitting in my garage, awaiting disassembly.
Attending the local Oktoberfest, changing my brother's tires, helping a buddy move, going karting, eating steak. I want to haul my busted-ass 951 out from my parents driveway and into my own, but beyond that, I don't think I'll stop being lazy enough to touch any of my own projects.
Hunter — sounds like a good weekend. I got a jump on the weekend by changing the oil on the Roadmaster.

So far I've done all those things but eat steak and I have yet to haul off my 951. If I could be bothered to leave my air conditioning, I bet I could do that tonight, though.
I'll be driving my M Roadster to my daughters college soccer games. At this stage my only responsibility is pre-gaming with friends and post-game dinner with daughter. Go Gophers!
Might try out the new power washer on the Xantia. Yes, I will be sure not to cut my foot off.
After that, will see about uploading the trove of photos from my lightning visit to the BMW museum on Wednesday.
Cars & Coffee and then work on a speaker cabinet to go with a little 5 watt amp head I bought off CL.
