Classic W114: 1973 Mercedes-Benz 220
The W114/W115 generation Mercedes-Benz E-Class was designed by the legendary Paul Bracq and sold from 1968 through 1976. The W114 was the least expensive Benz in the lineup at the time, and these days it is still a bargain for luxury seekers. Find this 1973 Mercedes-Benz 220 offered for $4,500 near Boston, MA via craigslist. Tip from Scott T.
From the seller:
Up for sale is my late uncle 73 Mercedes 220 4 door sedan auto AC all stock in mint running condition!? I just drove this car 150 miles from Conneticut without a hiccup!, even the electric Antenna still works, 136000 original miles.
The OEM radio & steering wheel are worth $1000! So if you want it cheaper, I’ll keep them!
Taking offers around $4500 or trades now or will be in storage till spring and sold for more….

I have a serious thing for these lil Benz'. Where I grew up it was lousy with these. Give me one with a four speed and a sunroof and on the West Coast and I'm all over it!
What's with folks who refuse to bargain on price? Yeah, if you are at Walmart, then the price if fixed. But cars? As my son always says, "A car is worth what someone will pay for it."
I need one of these in my life.
Any coincidence that this car is located halfway between the golf course and the cemetery? Kinda fits my impression of the typical MB owner back in the day…
Is it just a coincidence that this car is located halfway between the golf course and the graveyard? That's sorta where I thought the Benz drivers were, back in the day…
