Car Van: 1992 Mercedes-Benz 300TE Wagon
The Mercedes-Benz W124 generation E-Class was built for the 1985 through 1996 model years on a platform that was engineered to be a cut above the rest. Compare the build quality of an 80s W124 Benz to a similar era Lexus, Audi, or even BMW…and you’ll be pleasantly suprised with the Stuttgart steamer. Find this 1992 Mercedes-Benz 300TE Wagon offered for $2,650 in Jersey City, NJ via craigslist. Tip from FuelTruck.
This W124 is powered by the M103, a 3.0 liter inline 6 that puts out 177
horsepower and 188 ft-lbs of torque into the rear wheels via a 4 speed
automatic transmission. This wagon was a Delta Airlines executive car, so those rear jump seats were probably used for tossing around luggage that hadn’t been fully destroyed by those ridiculous airport conveyor systems.

Ummm, I'd like to comment on this one, but I need to go use Google Maps to figure out the best route to Jersey City. Seriously, this looks like a total bargain. It even comes with a set of snow tires. Damn you DT, you have complicated my afternoon….
Yes they see north of 500K miles (or does he mean kilometers) in Europe. But that's for diesel, not gas. However if I were closer, I would likely pick this up. If you pay his price, he'll replace the cracked windshield. Probably well worth the price.
Considering just how popular these cars are today, it's interesting to take a look at the history of the Mercedes Benz.vancouver car transport
