The Previous Owner Enjoyed This Classic German Mid Engine, Targa Top, 4 Wheel Disc Brake Sports Car as a Weekend Cruiser For the Last 9 Years. The Previous Owner Before Him Had It In Whittier, California, Just a Couple Blocks Away For 28 Years as a Fun, Weekend/Second Car.
The 1.7 Liter Flat 4 Cylinder Engine Still Retains It Bosch Fuel Injection, as It Left, Stuttgart, Germany In 1973. The Engine Usually Starts on the First Turn of the Ignition Key, and Requires a Quick “Warm Up”, as Most Classics Do. It’s Strong, Runs as It Should, and Doesn’t Smoke. The 5 Speed Manual, Side Shift Transmission Shifts as It Should, and New Bushings That Were Recently Installed Makes Shifting Gears Precise, Short and Quick.
The Interior is Mostly Original, and In Real Good Condition For Being 46 Years Old. The Custom Momo Monte Carlo Steering Wheel is a Nice Touch to the Interior and Becomes Very Handy on Windy Back Roads.
