Big Wagon: 1996 Buick Roadmaster Estate

In 1994, the Buick Roadmaster got a massive powerplant upgrade when it ditched the old L03/L05 V8 and replaced it with an LT1 V8 with more horsepower, torque, and better fuel economy. It shared the LT1 with the Corvette, but you couldn’t fit 8 people into a Corvette. Whenever I find one of these giant whale-shaped things, I can’t help but think of DT’s Roadmonster, that spent a stint with Logo Guru Kaibeezy, to me (DT’s E-i-C Vince), and finally to CFlo, who returned it a few years later in better shape than it left. It went to a family member in need and continues to move around kids and plywood while consuming fuel like a boss. Anyway, this next feature looks to be a good deal on a classic LT1-powered boat. “Wouldn’t you rather drive a _uick?”
If anyone needs the rear cargo roll-up cover, I have a very nice tan one left over after demise of my Grandpa Gold ’95.
This beast looks strangely familiar…….like an official DT beast…..only in another color. No?
You can’t even buy a flippin’ Vespa for $3,600 these days. This is a great price on a cool car!
