This next car is just in time for Halloween. It isn’t your typical horrorod, but in the theme of Halloween, we’ve got a Buick wagon wearing an off-road costume. I like it! Find this 1987 Buick Electra Wagon bidding for $4250 reserve-not-met with 2 days to go, located in Grinnell, IA via eBay. From the […]
This next car comes as a tip from BarbPaddles who writes: Dealers are no doubt hungry in this ‘pandemic economy’ for such unique stuff. 5000+ pounds of American family cruising that anyone can service/maintain. Strangely during this coronacrisis dealers have seen used car prices increase, but that shouldn’t stop you from buying something like an undisputedly wood covered Buick wagon. Find this 1990 Buick Estate Wagon offered for $12,900 in Traverse City, MI via Hemmings.
This next car is quite something else. It starts with a normal looking Chevrolet Caprice Classic (not an Impala…) and then continues to have another Caprice that was shortened to puffer fish proportions and turned into a trailer. With the available 8 seats (3+3+2) in the Caprice and then the final 5 in the trailer (3+2) you get a total seating for 13 in a vehicle that might not technically be legal to have people in the back, but I think the only reason a cop would pull you over would be to tell you how awesome it looked. Find this 1993 Chevrolet Caprice Classic Plus Trailer offered for $12,500 in Hoquiam, WA via craigslist. Tip from JB1025.
To say that this next car will need some restoration is a bit of an understatement. The interior will need to be nuked from orbit (it’s the only way to be sure) and there is enough rust to earn a spot on the endangered species list…but…BUT…this thing is wicked sweet. It started life from the […]

Find this 1967 Ford Cortina Estate Mk1 offered for $1500 in Orange, VA via craigslist. From the seller: […]
The Buick Roadmaster Estate is to the car world what Tyra Banks is to the modeling world — some people swoon and salivate, other’s shrink in horror at obscene dimensions of that Zeta Reticulan facial profile. But regardless of where you fall in Roadmonster love/hate spectrum, we’ve got the nicest Tyra Banks…errr…Roadmaster you’ll ever put […]
What could be better for a daily driver and family cruiser than a big V8 powered American wagon with less than 100k miles on the odometer offered for a good price. The Buick Roadmaster Estate may have been a badge engineered version of the Chevrolet Caprice Estate but it added much needed flair to the […]
The Auto Union 1000 was a front-wheel drive oddity that predated the Auto Union & NSU marriage that became what we know today as Audi..but its spirit is still uniquely German and Audiesque. Find this 1957 Auto Union 1000 Estate here on eBay bidding for $2,000 in Boulevard, CA with 4 days to go. A few words from […]
It is Sunday, a day of rest, a day where we avoid the manual gearboxes and zoom-zoom handling and instead opt for a reclined driving experience. Like this 1996 Buick Roadmaster Estate Wagon offered for $500 in Ft Myers, FL via craigslist. Tip from Dascpcu. I shouldn’t need to tell you why you want a […]
With all the Volvos posted around these pages you’d expect that the best 5-door would have been some kinda Swedish machine (maybe even a Saab??) but you’d be completely wrong. I don’t write this because I don’t appreciate the sublime feeling of a vintage Volvo…but I can tell you that if you drive a wagon […]
