Barn Found: 1971 Jaguar XKE Type III V12
The Jaguar E-Type is the classic that needs little introduction to the automotive world, however I feel that I need to bring one thing up before we go any further. You might want to shove a carburetor fed small block chevy into the engine bay, but don’t do it. You wouldn’t roll up a cigarette made from Earl Grey tea, would you? Find this 1971 Jaguar XKE Type III V12 offered for $12,500 in Palmer, AK via craigslist. Tip from Zach Z.
This thing is a barn find and will need considerable help, BUT it does have a glorious Jaguar V12 and a low asking price. See a better waste of your nights/weekends for the foreseeable future? tips@dailyturismo.com
Time well wasted.
Time well wasted.
This is literally the only way I could ever afford one. It's in boxes, and it's located in Alaska. Maybe just bring it all to Colorado and ask $20k.
You never know how Earl Gray smokes until you try it.
Maybe it's better than Longbottom Leaf or Old Toby!

Hmmmm, a 45 year-old British car, with a V-12, that someone else dismantled. What could possibly go wrong. I'm in!
"One carb was just rebuilt."
One. Out of four.
That's one out of three!
Just looked at the ad again – it's now a two-fer for $15,500.

Hi Zach,
Incredible to come across this page by pure chance : that's my car !!!
I bought it in feb 2017 in England, coming from California and now it's in France where I live. After some work, runs and drives well.
If you can read this, I would be so happy to have a little history on it, maybe other pictures, …
I'm Claude and my email is claude.cabaret@free.fr .
Hope to hear from you soon.
