AWD Subaru Swapped: 1973 Ford Courier

The worst thing about a 2 wheel drive pickup is that they have no traction in the wet…or maybe that is the best thing about a 2WD pickup (depending on how you drive…but I digress).  The Ford Courier pickup was actually a Mazda B-series that was available over the years with a number of small powerplants, including a Wankel, but today’s example has been converted into a boxer-4 powered all-wheel-drive custom.  Find this 1973 Ford Courier offered for $7500 in Salinas, CA via craigslist. Tip from Safety Fast.

From the seller:

1973 Ford courier

fuel: gas

title status: clean

transmission: manual

Selling my 73 ford courier awd Subaru drivetrain, all the underneath of the truck is a 2000 Subaru wagon 2.5 stick shift it was cut then the cab and bed of the ford courier was added. So the truck is register as a 73 so no smog needed. Runs and drives but needs a good cooling system since the radiator is in the back of the bed. Not in a rush to sell it since I have big plans for it but if it sells I could use the money to finish my race truck. I’m located in Salinas ca. And noooo I don’t need help selling it! Serious buyers only dont waste my time or yours. If you really interested u would come see the truck in person with money in your pocket and a trailer to take it away. It holds a clean title and its register. Asking $7500 it’s a unique build
