I was in Hawai’i on vacation when tipper Cory sent in this next beauty, which I would have loved to visit in person if I was on the same island, but alas my snorkeling skills aren’t strong enough for Island-to-Island swimming. Anyway, I really want to see what the bed or trunk looks like when exposed. Find this 1983 Mercedes-Benz 300D El Camino offered for $15,000 on the Island of Oahu, HI via craigslist. Tip from Cory.

I wouldn’t be surprised if this is an elaborate photoshop prank, otherwise I’m impressed that the fuel filler was moved along with the roof and rear window.
How long a surfboard would fit in there?
My grandfather drove a diesel Mercedes with the rear seat removed to accommodate shovels, a surveyor’s transit and rod and a bunch of lumber. Never needed to hack off the doors.
