All The Right Features: 2004 Infiniti G35

The G35 was a model sold at Nissan’s luxury brand Infiniti in the USA starting in the 2003 model year. The G35 is powered by a 260 horsepower and 260 ft-lbs of torque version of Nissan’s VQ35DE that is located far back in the chassis (Nissan calls it FM -front midships) mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox that is connected to a viscous limited slip differential out back. Today’s example is offered for a decent price for the number of miles and condition. Find this 2004 Infiniti G35 offered for $8990 in Canton, MA via cars.com. Tip from Art C.

I like the 6-speed but $9K?
Here’s a 2007 being sold locally, with 76k, for $7,000. All-wheel drive, too.

It’s an automatic
Awesome, except for the fact that you have to carry a case of oil in the trunk and pull over every day and add some to the engine.
I bought it! $8k purchase price, I know it’s towards the top of the market but I was willing to pay up for a clean example. The 03-04 have the VQ35de, not the revup motors in 05/06 that were notorious for oil consumption…
I was looking for a rwd stick g35 sedan that was bone stock for a few months, they don’t come up for sale under 100k very often anymore. It’s super clean underneath and in the engine bay, zero rust or weeps/seeps/leaks.
300 miles in I am VERY happy with my decision!
Congrats on your purchase!
