5k: Ten Dollars Per Cube: 1975 Cadillac Camino DeVille
The plan sounded so good in your head and looked even better on paper. Step 1 –You get a classic American luxury barge sedan. Step 2 –Hack up the rear end and turn it into a customized pickup. Step 4– Profit. Today’s prophetic custom comes in the shape of a DeVilleCamino, instead of the typical (and easier because it is front wheel drive) Eldoradomino. Find this 1975 Cadillac DeVille El Camino
offered for $5,000 buy-it-now on ebay with 5 days to go, located in Cincinnati, OH.
On the plus side, this ElVille comes with a red felt lined bed that has what looks to be a functioning tailgate — always a plus on El Camino’d creations. It also features Cadillac’s enormous 500 cubic inch V8 engine pushing power to the rear wheels. Unfortunately, the paint looks like it has scabies and will need some attention in the next few months if you don’t want to end up sweeping your Cadillac out with the trash.
In a highlight of unusual lucidity for an ebayer, the seller includes a detailed and closeup view of the rear window!! What a treat for the El Camino observer – this one has a powered rear window, which may or may not be stuck in the down position. Anyone who has ever driven a pickup will know how useful this rear window will be to any potential El Caminists.
How much can it possibly cost to strip all that paint and redo everything from bare metal? tips@dailyturismo.com

Anon-there are similarities to this and a flower car, but this looks more like what is featured above.
It would probably cost as much to defeat the tin worm as it will to buy the carcass. Not just a paint job.that thng has rust belt rust………nonetheless driving this youd be the hit at the Rest Home Cars N Coffee…everyone else is in a mobility scooter and you're in a big ole caddy
I just saw something so similar to this!: neworleans.craigslist.org/cto/4467143312.html
