5k: Not A Creeper Van: 1977 Dodge Tradesman Custom Van

Often when you see a custom van it makes the hairs on the back of your neck stand up, because you are certain a few people have been murdered inside (possibly while you are looking at it), but occasionally you see a custom van and reflexively do the nod of acknowledgement.  Yeah.  That’s a nice van.  Find this 1977 Dodge Tradesman Custom Van here on eBay currently bidding for $6,150 with one day to go, located in New Boston, MI.

This isn’t the van that you’d want to live in down by the river — but you could use it for tailgating at a football game or a motel style road trip.  You could spend a few nights in it, but it won’t be a good substitute for an RV since it has no toilet or shower.  The lack of shower is instantly forgiven when you see the tasteful panoramic scene airbrushed on the side — no topless amazon women or wolves howling at the moon here.

It does have a small cooler and a sink, but the 4 captains chair setup and rear seat that folds down into a bed is probably a good mate for those campgrounds where you can park and pitch a tent next to the car.
