4 Speeds Good, 6 Speeds Better: 1996 Chevrolet Caprice 6-Speed
The forth generation Chevrolet Caprice was used by so many Police departments for many many years that they still evoke a instinctive brake check from motorists…myself included. Today’s next example won’t be mistaken for an active duty police cruiser, but it should be a hoot to drive. Find this 1996 Chevrolet Caprice 6 speed offered for $3000 in La Canada, CA via craigslist. Tip from Sean S.

I did all the work on this car so I can answer any questions. It is an unfinished project that does need some work but mechanically it is in great shape. Motor, Transmission and rearend are all great. AC does not blow cold.
Make me an offer or a trade. Must sell! First $3000 takes it. $2400 with stock Impala 17″ wheels with worn tires.
I’ll consider trades for 4x4s or street legal dirt bikes.

Sewer intake… No, thanks!
$2,400 with stock impala wheels, yes please.
I would do a white Earl Scheib paint job on it and drive the crap out of it.
Wow, I'd buy that if it weren't about as far away as you can get in the lower 48. I'd save the money on those 20s since I hate having tires that thin. This thing needs some big balloon rubber on 15s.
Those "tight pants" floor mats are the ticket.
Did someone say Tight Pants?
Everyones talking about my tight pants
